First heard this song in Kite Runner. Such a beatiful song. Gives me goosebumps.
Allahumma salli 'ala,
Sayyidina,
Muhammadin an-Nabiyyi al-ummiyyi,
Wa 'ala alihi wa sahbihi wa sallim.
(O Allah, send your peace and blessings upon our Master Muhammad, the Unlettered Prophet, and upon his family and companions.)
O My Lord,
My sins are like
The highest mountain;
My good deeds
Are very few
They’re like a small pebble.
I turn to You
My heart full of shame,
My eyes full of tears.
Bestow Your
Forgiveness and Mercy
Upon me.
Ya Allah,
Send your peace and blessings
On the Final Prophet,
And his family,
And companions,
And those who follow him.

Sami Yusuf - Supplication
Tuesday, February 17, 2009
It;s not just a number.....
I got my first wish from Asyraf
but first call from Mak and Abah and Ma.
In between,
Yana, Mila, Kak Yan, Ain, Kak Ita, Anita, Mel, Vim, Ina, Limah,Liza, Shamim...
Also,
Fadhil who went out from the lecture hall to wish me
and other students....
call from overseas-'Adilah
"Ayah bagi ibu apa?"
"Ikan 3 rasa."
"Hehehe...takde bunga?"
"Ayah bukan orang putih"
and Amirah at 10 am
Adek in Trengganu at 2pm
but none from Zura and Wa
probably they are too busy with work.
I got my last wish , surprisingly from Shamil...
and last but not least...
my first bouquet of red roses, first time in my life(!)
from Abang, unexpectedly.
It really made my day.
TQ u all for the rememberance
that 43 is not just a number...
It's a symbol that tells you that time left
is far no longer.
***Tomorrow, the journey to PD begins...(Fadhil buat hal tadi...and I had to cover up...Haru sungguh!)

Another bz day....
At home, my children didn't do much help. I even got mad at them. Malas nak cerita. Not a pleasant story to tell. And I forgot to call my mom and dad...I'll do that tomorrow. They may have slept by now.
It's 12midnight now. I'd better go to bed...gnite everyone.
One of the best movie I've ever watched. Will be remembered for a long, long time.

Lisa Hannigan - I Don't Know
I've been taking care of many people. My friends, family, parents, sisters and brothers, students and people that I know off that I deeply care although they have no blood-ties with me. I always call them, talk to them, listen to their stories, grumps and grundges, and received them at work even if I have a lot of work to be done. I will still say,"Yes?" can I help you." No rejection. If I can't see them at that time, I'll see them later. But they will always come back. My cubical is like a meeting place for many people. They even have breakfast or tea break at my table eventhough I was not eating. I don't mind, really. I like their company. They make my place such a happening spot although they know I'm always busy and my cubicle is not always tidy.
But there are times when I become like them. Wanting to tell stories or letting out my anger and frustration. Where do I go? Can't just go to any place and anyone...Uhmm...to this blog I guess (besides God)..I don't know. I really don't know..
Don't know what else to say
Adoi, this is really giving me headaches. But surprisingly, I still managed to cook breakfast and 'bawak bekal' to work. I even share the food with my office mates. For 3 nights, I slept before 10, straight in a row. Too tired to think about other things.
last Thursday was the worst day of all. I went to see the Pengarah 4 times that day! And this very irresponsible colleague tried to 'steal' my storytelling girl from me. So, I had to fight and really stern on this matter. Nasib baik menang.
But now, Ning pulak yang buat hal...tak focus. Sakit kepala. Tapi dalam pening-pening tu, teringat jugak kat PGL. Wanted badly to see it but the only ticket left is next Sunday night. How? Hari kerja. Ambil cuti? Tak tau lagi...tapi nak tengok...
I had some consultation hours with Ning and Fadhil since the past few days. I nearly missed taking home Masyitah from school. My goodness...
Mata dah ngantuk...dah layu sangat. Have to stop now. Lagipun, apa nak cite lagi. Orang dah boring... ENOUGH SAID, I guess...
Selamat Malam.
p/s esok petang nak ambik anak2 dari sekolah pulak...

Those were the days...

1st February 1982
Well, that's not what I really want to tell here. There were 4 science classes at first. No social science class yet. My friends went to classes as usual until the Pengetua, Puan Khadijah told us about the new social science class that was going to be established in 7 boarding schools that year for students who dreamed to be an accountant, architect, ambassador, etc..etc....So, since I was in Form 4 sc. 3 class just for a few days and I wasn't really interested in Science subjects, I opted for the stream. But, I have no regret after that coz I love my class, my teachers, my classmates and the subjects that I learned except Account and Economy ( I never knew I could end up marrying an account and economy major student).
I remember how all form 4 students were being called out to listen to a lecture given by the Pengetua on the 1st of February 1982. She called us rebellious and stubborn because almost all of us did not go to the classes where we were assigned to. We simply hung around our old classmates in Form 3, and that gave headaches to the administration.
"Kerana kamu semua degil sangat, saya bagi kamu peluang untuk pilih kelas kamu sendiri. Kelas social science sebelah kanan sekali. Kemudian kelas sains 3 barisan, cepat!"
And that's it! First time in history (that I know), we got the chance to choose our own class with friends and buddies that we liked...Memang hebat! Memang best! (but later on we heard gossips that the seniors did not like our action.) The hall became so noisy with students running here and and there to choose their preferred class. It was really chaotic. But at last 4 classes were formed including my class, 4 SOC SCIE (pronounced like SOK SAI).
There were 15 of us and everyday was nothing short but humour. We even organised our table into v shape just to look different. We had En Masdar as the class teacher and later our Ustazah in Form 5. The best period was Physical Education class. Cik Ramlah always allowed us to playbasket ball until the game became our favourite activity during PE. There were so many unforgetable memories left in STF but the ones that I had with my classmates and teachers were the best of all!. To my ex-classmates..........
Raja Mazlena Raja Aziz@Gina (who liked to twist her hair)

Saidatul Baisah Shahidan@Adek
Rozita Yusuff@Jay
Rafidah@Rafi
Rozaimi Zakaria@Ami ( the first to wear tudung in class)

Suriani Hussein@Sue
