As I was passing...(5.30pm)

And I smiled at the bun sellers and asked them whether they were going home as they were packing up their buns and cakes.
The wife said,
"Ya, kami nak balik dah. Kelmarin kami dapat bawak balik seribu. Hari ni short 400. Kami tak boleh juai roti dan kek kami lagi di sini. En.A tak bagi kami jual di sini."
"Kenapa?"
"Kami ingat orang Melayu nak tolong orang Melayu tapi orang Melayu yang bagi jahanam orang Melayu. Saya datang jauh dari Penang, duit minyak lagi, tol...Nak jual di Penang, susah...banyak saingan. Orang Cina banyak bukak kedai roti."
"Saya ambil alih bisnes pak mertua saya yang sakit. Duit juai roti ni lah buat beli ubat dia. Duit ubat anak saya lagi. Anak saya Down syndrome tau? Depa tak mau bagi juai kek ni pasai depa ingat kami ada bubuh apa-apa. Pasai suami saya Cina..."
And she went on and on talking about her cakes, bun and her frustration

"Depa suruh saya juai depan tangga tu. Sapa nak beli? Tempat sini elok lagi. Tempat orang lalu lalang..Tak tau la cikgu. Kita cuba nak cari rezeki cara halal. Depa nak bagi pelingkup."
"Depa suruh saya tulih surat, saya dah buat tapi depa tak jawab. Kawan saya kata kita kena ada kroni untuk berniaga di sekolah atau universiti."

I really wish I could help them build their bussiness here but I don't have the power.Anyway, nice talkig to you, my dear bun sellers. I do hope you could overcome your problems soon.

p/s: Watched Antoo Fighters with my kids tonight. Yes, it is far from perfection if compared to any American movie but it's surely make you laugh nonstop. I had a serious laughtime at the cinema tonight. Congratulations to Antoo Fighters' director and crew. Job well done!
